German Case Bound Binding

The Case Bound book is a hard cover book with a sewn textblock. Students will fold, sew, and glue the interior of the book, then let dry while we assemble the cover, attaching the boards to the spine then covering with cloth.

In this course you will learn:

How to use the bookbinding tools.
Knowledge of bookmaking materials and their qualities.
How to make the tunnel book.

Level of Experience / Skills Required

All levels; no prior book-making experience required.
