$280 plus a $50 materials fee = $330.00 + HST

The simplified binding is a streamlined, elegant, and flexible book for fine binding. A combination of a leather spine and paper or cloth covered boards makes it easy to construct and gives the book a clean look and easy opening.

Instructor: Andrew Huot

In this course you will learn:

Preparing sections for the book.
Sewing structure of each binding
Proper use of bookbinding tools and materials.

Level of Experience / Skills Required

All levels; no prior book-making experience required. Some comfort with accurate measuring, folding, and cutting with blades/knives is needed to master the skills taught in this workshop.

All tools and materials included but students are welcome to bring their own small bookbinding tools.
